Job DescriptionThe Automotive Technician, reporting to the Store and Service Managers, is responsible for performing basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshooting issues to ensure vehicle is performing appropriately and the customer is taken care of.Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Application of in-depth automotive repair knowledgeProviding service of the highest quality to our customersPerforms skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problemsInspect, replace and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance on automobilesContinuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technologyDemonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interaction with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliersAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standardsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaQualificationsWe are looking for:A minimum of 2 years’ auto service / engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacityASE Certification preferred, but not requiredMust have Technician ToolsValid driver’s licenseAbility to operate and drive vehiclesAbility to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screenEffective communication and interpersonal skillsTop-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customersWillingness to work SaturdaysAdditional InformationAll information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bendingAt time, exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objectsRequires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materialsBy completing this application, you are agreeing that you are able to meet the physical requirements listed for this role.
