Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Description We are looking of a remote Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, operation, and automation of cloud IaaS networks, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will also be expected to mentor junior engineers while leading complex and vaguely defined projects. Also, you will interface consistently with tech leadership in the local organization, stretching into team leadership skills based on current projects. Responsibilities Configure enterprise or service provider grade network hardware Automate cloud IaaS networks Demonstrate intermediate to expert level skills in routing protocols such as OSPF, MPBGP, ISIS, MPLS Understand physical and virtual network technologies and how they interoperate Incorporate the most appropriate model for given technologies into designs to observe network behavior and performance Make well-defined technology choices and communicates in business terms to impacted stakeholders Facilitate collaboration with different stakeholders to develop effective solutions to issues Stay apprised of emerging technology trends and best practices that could potentially benefit the organization Investigate a range of issues or incidents by gathering and analyzing information, documenting insights and findings on the underlying cause, circumstances, and contributing factors, and suggesting necessary actions for resolution Mentor other engineers (Individual Contributor I, II, III) and serve as an expert for a given domain Requirements 3+ years of relevant professional experience Worked in at least 2 multi-quarter projects and decentralized teams and projects Formally mentored at least 3 individuals and drove technical design end-to-end of at least 3 projects Expert in configuring enterprise or service provider grade network Intermediate to expert knowledge of models used to show network state and for configuration (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX etc.) Expert in configuring, operating, and automating cloud IaaS networks (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) Relevant certification (e.g., Cisco CCNP, CCIE, AWS Professional, AWS Network Specialty) B2+ English level proficiency for effective communication with the team and stakeholders We offer Learning Culture - We want you to be the best version of yourself, that is why we offer unlimited access to learning platforms, a wide range of internal courses, and all the knowledge you need to grow professionally Health Coverage - Health and wellness are important, that is why we have you and up to four family members in a premiere health plan.
