Job Title : Finance Analyst Location : 4000 Luxottica Place, Mason, OH 45040 (Hybrid In office 3 days/week) Duration : 3 Months contract (with possible extensions) Job Description: The Finance Analyst supports finance operations for high-risk, complex clients, performing advanced analysis and reporting, and providing guidance to enable effective financial management. The role partners closely with Account Managers across small to large client portfolios, researches client requests, and ensures timely follow-up and resolution. Key Responsibilities Client & Stakeholder Support: Interface daily with internal and external clients (phone/email) to research, resolve, or escalate issues promptly; maintain clear upward/downward communication so management and teams stay informed. Data Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, produce forecasts, and recommend solutions that accelerate cash application and reduce outstanding balances. Receivables Management: Evaluate open A/R trends (payment frequency, denials, over/short payments, root causes) and create action plans. Cash Application Ownership: Prioritize and manage the cash application process for high-risk customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Process Improvement: Identify and recommend system/process changes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control. Financial Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records for client accounts; prepare and deliver reports for Account Managers, clients, brokers, TPAs, and auditors on request. Issue Resolution: Collaborate with key internal/external stakeholders to thoroughly understand and resolve issues for complex client scenarios. Required Qualifications 2 4+ years in Finance, Accounting, or Revenue Cycle (e.g., A/R, cash application, credit/collections) supporting complex accounts. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, nested formulas); comfort working with large data sets. Experience with an ERP or financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) and reporting tools. Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with clients and cross-functional partners. Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutions. Ability to work onsite in Mason, OH three days per week. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare/vision benefits, payer/TPA environments, or benefits administration. Exposure to BI/reporting (Power BI, Tableau) or SQL for deeper analysis. Process improvement mindset (documenting SOPs, driving automation/efficiency).
