About the Role:Latch is looking for a Porter with experience in the residential and/or manufactured-housing real estate industry. The Porter will work under the direct supervision of the Property Manager. The Porter will be responsible for performing cleaning and general maintenance throughout our portfolio of multifamily and manufactured-housing communities in and around Boston and the greater-Boston area.In addition, this person will help oversee grounds maintenance. If you have prior experience in landscaping, cleaning, or maintenance for residential and commercial real estate, we encourage you to apply for this position today. Responsibilities: Cleaning hallways and common areas of buildingsJanitorial work (minor repairs)Assist with meeting vendorsPrepare Trash and Recycling for pick-upPaintingAssist with inspections of residential properties Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocolProvide access for vendors, or meet vendors to receive deliveries as necessary Perform other maintenance duties as requested Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communication skillsExperienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers and small hand toolsPhysically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassistedAble to work well with minimal supervisionSelf-StarterAbility to prioritize tasks and follow specified proceduresDriver’s license required & ability to drive Joining us means: Having teammates all over the world in the US, Argentina, Mexico, Italy, Uruguay, Portugal, and Spain.Collaborating in a fast-paced environment where you can apply what you have learned in new challenges, and, more importantly, grow your career.Being encouraged to invent and innovate within your role and working in a company where calculated risk-taking is highly encouraged and thinking outside the box is a must.
