We work with over 200 educational institutions and pride ourselves on connecting educators with outstanding career opportunities.  Our mission is to provide flexible schedules, professional development, and extensive training for our staff, while offering customized solutions and hands-on management for our partnering schools.  Job Details: Location: Charlotte, NCWork Hours: 7:15 am - 4:05 pmPosition Type: Float** For this position, there are 4 locations (in the Charlotte area) in need of substitutes. Substitutes are required to be available to work at all 4 locations and MUST be available between the hours of 7:15 am - 4:05 pm.**Key Responsibilities:  Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher.  Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.  Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.  Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners and accommodate individual learning styles.  Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student learning and address any challenges.  Follow school policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.Substitutes are Paid Weekly.RequirementsBachelor's Degree from an accredited United States institution in a related field.  Proficient technology skills and familiar with EdTech platforms.Valid teaching certification/license for the state or province of assignment (preferred).  Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.  Effective communication and interpersonal skills.  Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom environments.  Commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning experience for all students.  BenefitsBenefitsFlexible scheduling options to fit your availability.  Access to professional development and training opportunities.  Supportive and collaborative work environment.  Opportunity to work in diverse educational settings.  Hands-on management and support from Teachers On Demand.  Training & DevelopmentW-2 EmployeePay: Short-Term Degreed Teacher: $20.00 per hourLong-Term Degreed Teacher: $22.00 per hourShort-Term Certified Teacher: $28.00 per hourLong-Term Certified Teacher: $30.00 per hour
