Together with more than 230 colleges, universities, and corporate partners, we are helping to unlock human potential.What We’re Looking For:The Sr. Network Development Specialist, Nursing is a subject matter expert in all things Network Development and clinical experiences in Nursing and Women’s Health. The Sr. Network Development Specialist, Nursing will have a particular interest and skill set in obtaining and expanding new and existing partnerships with sites and networks, with a specific emphasis on increasing women’s health and midwifery preceptors and contracts. They will have a drive and proven skill set for forming and maintaining site relationships that stand out from their peers. This specialist will be responsible for driving new contracts and network partnerships for nursing, women’s health, and midwifery rotations for students. In this role, the specialist will be responsible for the buildout of networks as well as overall consultation on site and preceptor expansion strategies.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:Network Development Work independently to tactically grow placement network by soliciting contracts with large and medium sized organizationsDemonstrate a mastered approach in network expansion by using innovative ideas to engage potential agency/healthcare partners, with a specific emphasis on women’s health and midwifery.Leverage relationships with network contacts to obtain new contracts on behalf of 2U degree programsUtilize a consultative sales approach to tailor messaging in conversations with network contactsSME (subject matter expert) on program details and contracts processes used when communicating with network contacts Initiate and own contracts process and facilitate communications between the contracts specialists and network contactsProactively communicate with Placement Manager and specialists on the program team to identify priorities and coordinate work Communicate regularly with faculty and other external stakeholders Use creative approaches to building new partnerships and relationships, as well as keeping future sites and contracts in play Team Initiatives, Training, Meetings, & Process Improvements Leads team initiatives that drive Network Specialist KPIs (new affiliation agreements, sites covered by a single affiliation agreement, programs covered per Network, affiliation agreements used in first launch cohort).Leads and conducts training for the team on identifying and contracting with nursing networks and facilitating women’s health outreachIdentifies process improvements and best practices Works closely with University faculty to facilitate placement work Partnership Expansion Send emails to sites with initiated AAs, informing them of the benefits of an expanded partnership SME of partner codes, the career engagement network, and how they can benefit networks/sites Strategically leverage expanded partnerships to support other priorities and tailor messages based on the needs of the organization using a consultative sales approachCommunicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders In the First 30 days you will: Understand our placement cycles and approach to network developmentCraft a development strategy to increase the volume of CNMs, women’s health practitioners and nursing sites for current and future studentsConnect with 2U and faculty on best practices for outreach and student placement initiatives In the first 60 days you will: Implement development strategies and start to bring in contracts or new facilities/preceptors Work on future start dates for students as well as coordinator placement efforts with the existing placement team to ensure students start on time In the first 90 days you will: Demonstrate the effectiveness of your outreach strategyEnsure the team reached their goal of 95% on-time placement for current and future start dates by utilizing your outreach approach Things That Should Be In Your Background: Licensed NP with experience in women’s health or midwiferyAt least five or more years of work experience or equivalentBachelor’s degree required, Nursing degree preferredStrong time management and organizational skillsPrevious experience in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience in a customer service-oriented environmentComfort in communicating and establishing rapport in a professional manner across the following mediums: phone, email, video conference, and in-personGood judgment and excellent organizational, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomouslyStrong sense of system orientation and focus on providing “white glove” service to network partnersEnthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant changeAbility to work and contribute in a team environmentAbility to have consultative sales conversations Benefits & CultureOur global employee base is a diverse collection of innovators, dreamers, and doers working together to transform lives through higher education.
