Reporting to the Data Center Planning & Delivery organization, you will have the opportunity to partner across the global AWS Infrastructure Services organization to shape the future of the AWS profile and tempo to which we deliver. Data Center Community is growing the One-Intake Program team function in scale and complexity in order to deliver capacity on time to meet customer business requirements. The team is seeking a highly-skilled & driven Senior Technical Program Manager who will help drive the team toward our mission of building durable and reliable data-informed processes within AWS Infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience managing global Infrastructure projects/programs; developing, monitoring, and reporting project/program health metrics; leading cross-functional teams; developing and implementing change management plans; training and mentoring performance; and driving position readiness improvement. As a Senior Technical Program Manager within this team focused on new product launch preparation (e.g. Machine Learning Products), you will work with cross-organizational teams from Services, Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering, Software development and Capacity Planning teams to prepare for new product end to end launch readiness with automation and operational process in place. Key job responsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities from the Senior Technical Program Manager include, but are not limited to, the following: * Work with teams/stakeholders cross VP organizations to influence new product and data center design to ensure compatibility (Will focus on Machine Learning Products Primarily)* Identify new product intake to launch gaps across new product initiative and relevant downstream teams and define strategy and deployment plan to close the gaps* Work with software system teams to identify existing toolings and integrate them to close offline communication gap * Implement system and process changes as long term solution to replace interim manual intervention solution that having cross organization impact* Drive adoption of established system and processes with teams/stakeholders across VP organizations * Create business review documentation (MBR, QBR etc.) and lead program review with VPs* Establish process health metrics and key performance indicators and work with BIE team to deploy data visualization reports illustrating process health.* Establish status update report and create Wiki/docs for broader team communication* Actively explore new ideas and drive implementing it to improve new product preparation.About the teamWhy AWSAmazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform.
