Web Product Specialist

Responsibilities: Lead discovery and requirements. Elicit, document, and validate detailed BWS business requirements across brands, distributors, and retailers. Capture use cases, acceptance criteria, data needs, and compliance constraints. Own the source of truth for scope and changes. Author project scope, user stories, process maps, and data flows that reflect BWS realities such as territories, state pricing, tax and excise, allocations, and unit of measure by case, pack, bottle, or keg. Provide clear technical direction from definition through implementation for a proprietary BWS platform, including integrations, content models, and operational handoff. Manage project timelines and dependencies. Deliver launches on time and to specification while proactively managing risk and stakeholder expectations. Configure the platform for BWS needs. Support setup and testing. Reduce technical rework through rigorous QA and UAT plans tailored to BWS scenarios such as state shipping rules, allocation logic, and price books by market. Maintain working knowledge of common B2B procurement flows and relevant analytics. Use data to recommend optimizations for conversion, compliance pass rates, and operational efficiency. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver roadmaps for BWS that align with brand and distributor strategy, portfolio priorities, and market expansion. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education/Certifications/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or a related field. Equivalent experience considered. 2+ years in eCommerce, product operations, or project management with direct experience in beer, wine, and spirits. Experience with the three-tier system and BWS compliance is strongly preferred. Background working with BWS data and systems is a plus. Examples include distributor ERPs, inventory and price books by territory, age verification services, OMS, PIM, or DAM. Requirements Clear and concise communicator in writing and in person. Comfortable leading discovery sessions with brand, distributor, retailer, legal, and compliance stakeholders. Proven client-facing experience with the ability to align enhancements to real business processes in BWS environments. General knowledge of eCommerce and back-office integration, including APIs, data transfer patterns, SSO, and procurement connectivity. Familiarity with EDI concepts is a plus. Systems thinker who can balance long-term roadmap with day-to-day execution and change control. Data-driven. Uses analytics and best practices to influence decisions and measure outcomes. Detail oriented with strong organization. Delivers under deadlines with high accuracy. Works independently with minimal supervision and collaborates effectively with a wide range of people. Performs well under pressure and meets deadlines. Flexible team player who can work overtime when required. Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is between $50, - $77, annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US.
