In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design, delivery, and operational excellence of essential infrastructure components. As the Director in OCI, you will provide leadership to a dedicated team tasked with overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects within OCI. Qualifications: A BS or MS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record in managing large-scale critical service. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and performance optimization within a technology-driven environment. Exceptional decision-making abilities, with experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Strong background in recruiting, developing, and leading senior individual contributors (ICs) and building high-performing teams. Ability to make decisions that significantly impact the organization’s infrastructure, with potential implications for revenue and long-term operational success. As a Director of software engineering organization, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture. The mission of our Network Automation team is to provide tooling that allows our customers to design, build, scale, and operate OCI networks. Our customers want auto-remediation of incidents, touch less and automated operations such as upgrading 1000s of devices and pushing configuration changes safely, adding network capacity seamlessly.
