GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Brand Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies to enhance awareness, drive engagement, and foster loyalty. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to help shape the image for both our brand and our product lines. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging that achieves business objectives. Our ideal candidate is a strategic marketer, who is extremely organized, yet flexible enough to quickly adjust to the dynamic and transitional market of today.
Essential Job Functions:- Develop marketing and advertising strategies to build brand equity, increase customer engagement, and drive sales growth
- Ensure all marketing activities, platforms and touchpoints are aligned with the brand’s identity, values, and guidelines
- Work closely with product development, sales, and other departments to ensure a unified approach to brand management
- Participate in the strategic planning process, recommending marketing strategies and initiatives to meet business objectives
- Partner cross functionally to craft go-to-market/commercialization plans, working within the marketing team to aggregate an integrated approach and provide updates
- Develop comprehensive product launch plan in collaboration with cross-functional teams; Coordinate the creation of marketing assets to support the product launch or campaign; Execute and track plan at detailed level upon launch
- Work with Director of Marketing, Digital Marketing Leader, and Marketing Analyst to optimize messaging within paid social and digital media for maximum ROI
- Collaborate with Graphic Designer to develop engaging and effective marketing materials that resonate with the intended audience
- Maintain customer segmentation profiles, updating based on feedback from customers and post-sale surveys, to improve brand messaging and offerings
- Development of annual and monthly marketing content calendars, ensuring alignment with sales priorities, trade shows and product launches
- Provide oversight of Club Car’s social media accounts (via agency and/or direct community management) inclusive of Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Manage and analyze feedback from customers to improve brand messaging and offerings
- Develop customer marketing profiles for the overall brand and each product line
- Recap and develop optimization strategies summarizing social content performance and insights
- Leverage analytics to create promotional messages and marketing solutions
- Track annual and quarterly objectives and KPIs against plan
- Oversee budget / financial reconciliation process for corporate marketing initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related fields
- At least ten (10) years of experience in Brand, Product and/or Channel marketing required for the Senior Manager role or five (5) years of experience for Manager level
- Experience creating marketing plans and the ability to manage budget against it
- Excellent command of the English language along with written and verbal skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms, understanding the needs of each audience and applicable algorithms
- Innovative mindset with a focus on creating engaging content customized across multiple platforms
- Ability to think creatively and work cross-functionally within the job scope
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
Location: Augusta, GA or Huntersville, NC
Travel: Up to 20%
