What you'll be doing:

Safely transporting material to and from transloading facilities as dispatched
Utilizing Class A CDL, Tanker, and Double & Triples Endorsements for local material transport
Fuels and cleans truck, performs pre and post-trip inspections, completes paperwork, and reviews communication board
Reporting maintenance issues promptly
Understanding and meeting critical service requirements
Actively participating in safety program and meetings
Interacting with Savage and customer personnel; strong communication skills required
Assisting with other tasks as needed to meet customer expectations
Attending communication meetings and safety training
Completing required paperwork and adhering to DOT regulations
Responsible for the condition of assigned equipment; reporting any damage immediately

Requirements of a successful CDL Driver:

Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Double & Triples Endorsements
Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol screening
Physical ability to maneuver heavy hoses and connect them
Compliance with DOT regulations and completion of required paperwork

Here are some of the physical requirements of this role:

Ability to lift and move heavy hoses and operate equipment
Stamina to work long hours and handle physically demanding tasks
