*Job Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including long-term care, hospice care, and home care. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and assistance with daily activities, promoting their comfort and well-being.

*Shift Information:*Days and Nights two 8's and two 12's

*Duties*
* Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
* Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
* Provide patient service by responding to requests for assistance promptly.
* Help lift and transfer patients safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
* Document patient information accurately in medical records.
* Support nursing staff with medical-surgical tasks as needed.
* Participate in emergency medicine procedures when required.
* Assist with phlebotomy tasks under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.

*Requirements*
* Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program or equivalent experience.
* Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred but not required.
* Experience in long-term care, hospice care, home care, or outpatient settings is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient service.
* Ability to lift and move patients safely while adhering to safety protocols.
* Familiarity with medical records management and basic medical terminology is beneficial.
* Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
