_*Core Dermatology*_ is seeking an experienced and dynamic *Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) *in our Peoria, IL and Galesburg, IL locations. This position will provide dermatologic care for a wide variety of patients and skin conditions.

*Job Duties:*
* Conducts general dermatology consultations and examinations for conditions such as rashes, mole checks and skin tag removal, lesions, acne and skin care, wound care, etc.
* Performs minor surgical procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, suturing, etc.
* Assesses patient health status, including state of wellness.
* Orders and interprets tests and writes prescriptions.
* May also provide laser treatments and workup, including treatment for veins, hair, tattoos, pigmented lesions, etc.
* Ensures compliance with care plans and determining appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
* Provides education to patients and families as appropriate and provides continuity of care.

*Requirements:*
* Current Illinois licensure as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or eligible to obtain
* Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
* 2+ years as a PA or NP preferred
* Dermatology experience preferred
