Sun Pharmacy is a growing dermatology focused pharmacy in Mesa, AZ. We are looking to add a key player to our all-star team who is self-motivated, ambitious and energized by working in a close-knit team where they can make a difference.

*Position:*

Pharmacist-in-charge(PIC)

This role will include variety, challenges, and creativity that go beyond a typical retail pharmacy role.

Being part of Sun Pharmacy means bringing your ideas and problem-solving skills to the antiquated pharmacy industry; to create a lasting positive impact on the patient’s therapy and its cost; on providers by helping them select best therapy options in this payer driven healthcare system.

*Responsibilities:*
* Manage the prescription workflow and ensure 100% dispensing accuracy for all medications dispensed from pharmacy
* Provide appropriate counseling information and patient directions for all medications dispensed.
* Prioritize and multi-task to complete processing for time-sensitive medications.
* Consult and share expertise across rest of pharmacy team regarding best pharmacy practices, medications’ side effects, generic equivalents, and align pharmacy processes.
* Directly involve in inventory management
* Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
* Analyze pharmacy data and communicate with supervisor
* Maintain active communication regarding pharmacy’s performance
* Adherence to all Federal and State regulations pertaining to retail pharmacy operations

*Qualifications:*
* Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor’s degree from ACPE accredited program
* Pharmacist must be licensed in Arizona
* No minimum retail pharmacy experience required
* Flexible and adaptable to work in high-change, non-traditional pharmacy environment

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
