Edenbrook Green Bay , a skilled nursing facility, located in Green Bay, WI, is seeking an experienced and dedicated PM Charge Nurse . The Charge Nurse is instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents’ care.

Responsibilities:

* Hourly position, occasional weekends, On-call rotation duty.

* This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures by Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.

* Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.

* Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.

* Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.

* Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.

Education and/or Experience

* Preferably with at least 1 year of experience as Unit Manager/ Nurse Manager/ Charge Nurse

* Licensed with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required.

* Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.

* 3 years experience in a long-term care or Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.

* Experience with applicable state Survey Rules Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.

* Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.

* Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS
