*Job Description:* Hillmoor Optical in Port St. Lucie is seeking a Florida Licensed Optician to join our expanding, Optician-owned business. (We are also looking for someone skilled in operating edging equipment) If you're tired of being treated as a commodity and want a position where your skills are valued and utilized to their fullest potential, this opportunity is for you.

As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to recommend the best products tailored to each patient's budget and vision requirements, with access to the largest and most diverse frame and lens inventory in PSL.

We are searching for a well-dressed, friendly individual who excels in collaborative environments and takes pride in their chosen career. While bilingualism and Board Certification are advantageous, they are not mandatory. A sense of humor is essential as we interact closely with the public.

*Responsibilities:*
* Provide exceptional customer service and personalized care to patients
* Assist patients in selecting eye wear that suits their life style
* Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists and ophthalmologists
* Perform fittings, adjustments, and repairs of eye wear
* Maintain accurate patient records and inventory management

*Requirements:*
* Florida Optician License (Required)
* Associate Degree at minimum
* Minimum 1 year of experience in Opticianry
* Sales experience
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
