About Norman Regional Health System We are a community hospital system located at the southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area, known for our innovative cardiovascular program and commitment to workplace excellence. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Job Summary Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring seamless execution and patient safety.
Assess patient conditions, providing personalized care and positioning them for optimal imaging results.
Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures, adhering to strict protocols.
Collaborate with cardiologists, radiology students, and new staff members to ensure effective teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, the successful candidate will:
Participate in preceptorship programs for new hires and radiology students.
Utilize downtime efficiently by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks.
Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to drive excellent patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:
A completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration.
Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training and ACLS certification within six months of hire.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab environment, preferably.
