Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team, responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and ensuring a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This role involves collaboration with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, serving as a preceptor for new staff while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation of new staff.
Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Required Qualifications Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Compensation and Benefits $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
