Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Job Overview Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team of medical professionals in Norman, Oklahoma.
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular program.
The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Equipment Preparation : Ensure that all necessary equipment is prepared and functioning correctly before procedures.
Patient Care : Provide individualized attention to patients, positioning them for optimal imaging and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
Sterile Environment : Maintain a sterile environment during procedures to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
Preceptorship : Serve as a mentor and preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
Required Qualifications: Education : Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program or equivalent experience.
Certification : Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or RCIS certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Experience : One year of experience working in a Cath Lab or similar environment preferred.
Training : Basic Life Support (BLS) training required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training within six months of hire.
Benefits and Compensation: Salary Range : $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
