Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist Role at Norman Regional Health System

About Our Innovative Cardiovascular Program We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to join our innovative cardiovascular program, which has earned numerous awards, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Responsibilities This role involves preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, positioning and providing patient care, maintaining a sterile environment, and collaborating with cardiologists and leadership to ensure excellent patient care. Additionally, you will serve as a preceptor for new staff, participate in orientation, and use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
This position requires a strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have completed a formal Radiologic Technology program, hold relevant certifications, such as ARRT or RCIS, and have prior experience in a procedural area. A one-year experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred. You must also possess Basic Life Support certification and complete Advanced Life Support training within six months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $57,000 to $93,600, depending on previous work experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
