Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower will feature three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Estimated Salary: $27.84-$45.46/hour This competitive salary range reflects the value we place on skilled professionals like you who contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.
About the Role The Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist plays a critical role in preparing equipment and providing patient care in a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This position requires collaboration with healthcare teams to maintain high standards of professional practice and serve as a mentor for new hires.
Responsibilities: Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure seamless execution.
Assess patient conditions and provide personalized care to meet their unique needs.
Maintain a sterile environment to prevent complications and ensure patient safety.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Utilize downtime efficiently by performing tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated responsibilities.
Foster strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements: Completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
Previous procedural area experience preferred.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification required.
BLS training or re-training prior to providing patient care, with maintenance of current BLS through re-training throughout employment.
ACLS training within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
