Career Opportunity: Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment during procedures, ensuring patient care and a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare equipment before and during procedures, adhering to strict quality control standards.
IDentify and assess patient conditions, providing personalized care and attention.
Establish and maintain a sterile environment, upholding the highest standards of infection control.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
Maintain a strong professional working relationship with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of patient care, responding to emergencies and unexpected situations.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
Completion of a 24-month formal program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab or Procedural Area.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
A commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Compensation and Benefits:
$27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
