About Us Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled in the Oklahoma City metro area, renowned for its innovative cardiovascular program.
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities: Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care with precision and compassion.
Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures, upholding the highest standards of infection control.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, facilitating their growth and development.
Utilize downtime effectively by completing tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated responsibilities.
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements Hold current ARRT or RCIS certification in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Program.
Possess at least one year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting, preferably in a similar role.
Be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
Achieve Basic Life Support certification and maintain it throughout employment. Obtain Advanced Life Support certification within six months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits Our competitive compensation package includes:
$27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
