Together, we don't just solve technology challenges-we create opportunities for success. Job Summary: Visual Edge IT is seeking a Production Field Service Technician to join our service team. In this role, you'll be the trusted problem solver who helps keep our customers' offices running smoothly. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain office equipment-including MFPs, printers, copiers, scanners, and production devices-while building strong customer relationships through professionalism, communication, and outstanding service. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who thrives on solving problems, enjoys continuous learning, and wants to grow their career in a supportive and innovative environment. Primary Responsibilities: Provide on-site technical support for troubleshooting and repairing office equipment (MFPs, copiers, printers, scanners, plotters, etc.). Conduct diagnostic tests, clear jams, clean and adjust components, and replace damaged or worn parts. Install new or modified equipment at customer sites to ensure full functionality. Perform preventive maintenance and verify proper equipment operation. Maintain accurate service records, analyze technical reports, and recommend process improvements. Manage parts and supplies inventory, including ordering and stocking. Build customer rapport by providing courteous, professional service. Mentor and support junior technicians and trainees. Stay current on technical knowledge through training and industry resources. Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: 3-5 years of hands-on field service experience with office equipment. OEM training with Epson, Xerox, Konica Minolta, Canon, Sharp, HP, or Kyocera is a plus. Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Strong technical troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills (both written and verbal). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications. Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Willingness to travel overnight occasionally (less than 10%) and work occasional weekends/holidays as needed.
