Job Summary The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist - Cardiovascular Specialist plays a critical role in preparing and operating radiologic equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
Prepares equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance.
Identifies and assesses patient condition, preparing and positioning them for treatment.
Maintains a sterile environment throughout procedures to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
Responsibilities:
Provides exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and minimizing stress during procedures.
Serves as a preceptor for new hires, sharing knowledge and expertise to support team development.
Collaborates with physicians and staff to facilitate seamless communication and optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting, with a strong understanding of radiologic equipment and procedures.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within six months of hire.
Salary and Benefits:
