Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist Role

About the Position This role involves working in our state-of-the-art Cath Lab, preparing and assisting in cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment. As a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist, you will work collaboratively with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists while training new hires and utilizing downtime efficiently for departmental tasks.
Responsibilities Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
Maintain a sterile environment.
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
Utilize downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have:
A completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS certification.
Previous procedural area experience preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.

$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
