Job Summary A Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for preparing and managing patient care during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
This role requires collaboration with a team of cardiologists and the integration of advanced technology in the new Critical Care Tower.
Suitable candidates will hold certifications from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Key Responsibilities: Preparing equipment before and during procedures
Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
Maintaining a sterile environment
Collaborating with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Requirements: Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the Cardiovascular Credentialing International
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or an accredited Cardiovascular Program
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required prior to providing patient care, with current BLS certification maintained throughout employment
Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour , based on previous work experience.
