Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a Cath Lab Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in preparing and operating equipment for cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and care.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art facility. You will have the chance to collaborate with healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional medical services.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and operating equipment for cardiovascular procedures
Ensuring patient safety and care during procedures
Collaborating with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
The ideal candidate will have:
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or
Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
Basic Life Support
Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
