Software Applications Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Aizer is seeking a Software Applications Manager to oversee the management and optimization of our all software within the Center, with an emphasis on O365 and the Electronic Health Record (eClinical Works). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient use of all software platforms, supporting healthcare providers and enhancing patient care. The candidate will act as a primary liaison to the clinical and administrative team, ensuring that all internal stakeholders' usage of software is optimized for success.
Work Hours:
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Software Management:
- Oversee the design, development, implementation, maintenance and optimization of eCW and all other software solutions tailored to the needs of the Center, ensuring that we can deliver the best-in-class healthcare in an ever-changing landscape.
- Management of all customization needs of our software platforms, including developing electronic documentation templates in collaboration with practice leadership as well as executing on system build requirements as dictated by Aizer's growth.
- Project Manager for all software-related projects including within the EHR- integration, HIE, data migration, version upgrades/patches.
- Development of workflows and protocols to enhance patient documentation and care.
- Cultivate a strong business relationship between Aizer Health and software vendors and serve as a liaison software development.
- Collaborate with IT and the healthcare team to troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the EHR platform.
- Training and Support:
- Develop customized end-user training curriculum for eCW, O365, and all other relevant software platforms, fusing self-paced learning elements with traditional training practices.
- Ensure that each member of the Aizer team is trained in eCW and O365 and how to best optimize these software platforms in their daily operations. Conduct training sessions for team members on software usage, updates, and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to team members to improve proficiency and efficiency of all software platforms.
- Monitor software performance and user feedback to identify areas for efficiencies and improvement.
- Act as a point of contact for software-related inquiries and assistance.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to software use
- Maintain documentation of software policies and procedures.
- Participate in audits and quality assurance activities related to software usage.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the clinical, IT, and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration of software platforms into existing systems and daily operations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to provide insights on EHR usage and improvements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills required
- Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages professional growth and skill development.
- Experience with EHR platform training, a plus
- Experience using Office 365 and eClinicalWorks preferred
- Application Support experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferred
