Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the PECO brand internally and externally. This includes contributing to our culture with energy, creative ideas, and general enthusiasm in support of our brand, customers, and employees. The Marketing Manager will participate in the development and execution of our strategic marketing plan. They will help with planning, implementing, and monitoring branding and advertising activities to maintain and improve the brand’s image. The Marketing Manager will act as a liaison with our key marketing partners and provide internal communications support to the CEO and Human Resources.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide input to the annual marketing planning cycle and development of the Strategic Marketing Plan (SMP) and budget
  • Support the execution of the SMP through coordination and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Regularly review and analyze the success of the company’s marketing strategy using data analytics and metrics, and report out on the insights gained adjusting as needed to drive the continued success of the company’s marketing program
  • Act as a liaison with key external partners including but not limited to our Marketing Agency, Public Relations (PR) firm and Tradeshow Agency
  • Oversee the company’s marketing spend, review, approve and submit invoices for payment
  • Plan and support key marketing events including tradeshows, conferences, golf, and sponsorship events
  • Manage company store inventory, source, and order branded gear, ensure store orders and new hire brand boxes are shipped in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Ensure documents, sales decks, website, and all other marketing materials are kept up to date
  • Function as the internal brand ambassador, collaborate with HR to develop internal marketing campaigns and tools for our employee intranet
  • Respond to customer surveys or requests for information not contained in our sales materials
  • Provide support to internal functional (Executive, Sales, Pricing, HR, Service, Operations and IT) teams as required
  • Provide support for writing content to support the CEO regarding internal and external initiatives
  • Develop standard operating procedures for various marketing programs to ensure continuity
  • Complete other continuous improvement initiatives as assigned

  • Management and execution of simultaneous marketing projects
  • Ability to analyze data & financials, incorporate multiple insights, and develop creative solutions
  • Strong work ethic, efficient and able to work independently
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office products including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communication preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience including working with outside Agencies, planning and executing events and producing internal/external communication and messaging on social media.
  • Experience with Google AdWords or other forms of paid search marketing

Environment/Physical Demands

  • Office environment
  • Physical demands may include:
    1. Sedentary work that involves sitting/standing/twisting for up to 8 hours; and
    2. reaching with hands; handling materials, kitting and light work that includes moving objects up to 30 pounds

Travel:

  • Based on business needs may be up to 15% at times
