Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Swiss Programmer who will be responsible for using specialized software to write new programs for prototype work. This role involves converting prints to parts and partnering with process engineers and other programmers to develop new swiss machined parts. The position requires detailed quality inspection and documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Write new programs for prototype work using specialized software.
  • Convert prints to parts efficiently.
  • Partner with process engineers and other programmers to develop new swiss machined parts.
  • Conduct quality inspections and document results.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Use microscopes, measuring, and test equipment proficiently.
  • Check dimensions, squareness, hole locations, surface relationships, finish material defects, and mechanical strength of the product.
  • Utilize PCs and Microsoft Office software applications effectively.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of CNC Swiss programming experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with PartMaker and/or similar programming software.
  • 2+ years of GD&T experience.
  • Competence in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using microscopes, measuring, and test equipment.
  • Experience in quality inspection and documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in Medical Device R&D Machining and/or Programming.
  • Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and CMM programming.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.
