Aegis Worldwide is currently seeking a Tool Maker in the Rockforld, IL area. Please read below and apply if interested.

 

What does this compnay do:

  • Retail Merchandising Fixtures and Customer Displays. Everything from labeling solutions to sign holders, display hooks, retail shelf dividers and lots more These products are used in grocery stores, pharmacies, and any big box stores with products

 

This tool maker will make spare parts and fixtures that support the production equipment. This company is a high production metal manufacturer that support the retail display industry. You should be proficient in blueprint reading, edit/modify basic CAM programs in preparation for a part to be machines from raw material (they use steel and aluminum) and then actually machine the component. This person will also be designing and making fixtures for weldments to be held on the shop floor. This person will be doing both CNC and manual machining.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience machining spare parts from start to finish for production equipment
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings/blueprints and interpreting GD&T
  • Comfortable machining on manual and CNC machines
  • Bridgeport Manual Mill
  • Bridgeport Surface Grinder
  • Haas CNC Mills
  • Haas CNC Lathe
  • CAM programming/troubleshooting experience
  • Experience designing fixtures for welds either in SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Graphite.
