Position Overview: We are seeking a Certified Project Manager & Scrum Master with experience in managing Shopify and web design and development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: In collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, define the project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, content creators, and other stakeholders, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Shopify & Web Development Expertise: Oversee Shopify store setups, theme customization, app integrations, and web development projects, ensuring best practices and high-quality outcomes.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations before final approval and launch.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, managing team workloads and ensuring that projects are staffed appropriately.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement and refine project management processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Project Management & Scrum Master Certification
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in an e-commerce or digital agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of Shopify, including store setup, theme customization, and app integrations.
  • Experience managing web design and development projects, with a good understanding of UX/UI principles and web technologies.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or similar.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
