Driver Payroll Clerk *** 1-Month Contract
1st Shift
Pay: $21.00-$27.00 DOE
Location: Secaucus, NJ

Summary:
Responsible for managing and processing payroll for company's drivers, specifically collecting timekeeping data from driver logs, verifying hours worked, calculating wages, deductions, and ensuring compliance with regulations, and issuing paychecks or direct deposits. Maintain accurate records and addressing any driver-payroll-related inquiries.

  • Collecting and verifying timekeeping data
  • Calculating driver pay (applying rates based on hours worked, mileage, deliveries, bonuses, commissions)
  • Processing deductions
  • Payroll system data entry
  • Resolving discrepancies
  • Generating payroll reports
  • Staying up to date with federal/state labor laws
  • Maintaining payroll records
