Onsite Network Engineer-Security Analysis-2 month project

Functional Requirements (If applicable)

1.Endpoint Evaluation: Conduct a thorough assessment of all endpoints within the Waxdale manufacturing facility. Identify and document the types of endpoints, their configurations, and their roles within the Operational Technology (OT) environment.
2. Security Assessment: Evaluate the security posture of each endpoint, including vulnerability assessments and compliance checks. Identify potential security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
3. Network Analysis: Analyze the network connectivity and communication protocols used by the endpoints. Ensure that the endpoints are properly segmented and secured within the network.
4. Compliance Verification: Verify that all endpoints comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Document any deviations and propose corrective actions.
5. Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and reliability of the endpoints. Identify any performance bottlenecks or issues that could impact manufacturing operations.
6. Integration with IT Systems: Ensure that the Operational Technology (OT) endpoints are properly integrated with the facility's IT systems. Verify that data flows between Operational Technology (OT) and IT systems are secure and efficient.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed reports on the findings of the endpoint evaluation. Provide clear documentation of the current state, identified issues, and recommended actions.

Additional Considerations :
1. Expertise in Operational Technology (OT) Systems: The resource should have knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) systems or concepts and requirements.
2. Collaboration with other BPT/GBS Teams: Work closely with DSTs, ROMs, and Operational Technology (OT) teams to ensure a comprehensive evaluation and smooth implementation of recommendations.
3. Funding / Budget framework development

Focus on Operational Technology (OT) / Manufacturing
Higher level expertise needed; work detail depends on the project work; not prescriptive- requires flexibility and discretion in how the work is carried out.
Will require individual to use judgment and creativity. We will offer general guidance rather than strict rules or step-by-step instructions. We require the individual to work with some level of autonomy.
