Product Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Product Coordinator to become an integral part of our fast-growing Product Development Team. This position will report to our Product Director.

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of product development for product categories, including softgoods. A key component of this role will be speed to market, meeting quality standards, efficiency, manufacturability, and maintaining spec documents. This role includes managing production schedules, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring timely product delivery, and adhering to the company’s safety-first approach and brand standards.

 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

●        Develop and manage project and production schedules to meet business deadlines.

●        Collaborate with the product development team to transition products from concept to production. 

●        Review & provide comments on lab dips, strike-offs, quality samples, and raw materials or components.

●        Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the timely delivery of all stages of development leading up to production of finished goods. 

●        Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers and factories. 

●        Daily communication with external partners, including factories, consultants and safety experts.

●        Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs. 

●        Maintain accurate prototyping and production records, including techpacks.

●        Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality. 

●        Collaborate with the operations, quality, and compliance teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy for inspections, techpacks, and production schedules.

 

Qualifications:

●        5+ years experience in Production Management in a product development environment.

●        Bachelor’s degree

●        Experience in textiles, apparel production management, consumer goods or the baby product industry.

●        Experience in basic/ utility bedding

●        Strong knowledge of project management and product development processes.

●        Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

●        Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

●        Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, and maintaining techpacks and technical drawings and documentation.
