Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Barista to prepare and serve specialty coffee and tea. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a chain coffee shop and be able to create custom espresso drinks. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a clean and sanitized workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve specialty coffee and tea.
  • Interact with both new and regular customers.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work station.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines.
  • Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items.
  • Be punctual and observe regular and consistent attendance.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment.
Essential Skills
  • Experience working at Starbucks or other chain coffee shops.
  • Ability to make specialty drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and custom espresso drinks.
  • At least 1+ year in the coffee service industry.
  • 2+ years in the customer service industry.
  • Experienced and comfortable with working busy shifts.

Work Environment

Located in San Francisco, CA. Shifts are from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for PM event-based work. This is a contractor to hire position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
