Job Summary:

 HomeVestors of America, a respected leader in the real estate market, is seeking a seasoned Strategy Analyst to join our team. The objective of this role is to evaluate, understand, and present data to management to make strategic decisions for the business. This role will also align our performance reporting efforts with business objectives and will be a liaison between the financial and operations teams. Will report directly to the Controller with a line to the CFO and VP of Operations.

Note – This position is in-office (Dallas) Tuesdays and Thursdays; WFH Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Essential Functions:

 ·   Creation of internal reports, including preparation and review of monthly operating reports and analysis of operating results.

 ·   Assist with the development, implementation and collection of information required to track business activity, work efficacy, and other operating performance measurement criteria. Create templates or other data collection tools as needed.

·    Examine large data sets to provide strategic insight through reports and presentations that are shared in executive-level meetings to understand both the performance of our partnerships and the health of our business. This reporting will be relied on to drive strategic business decisions.

·   Ability to create and maintain complex data models, manipulate large data, perform financial/market modeling and projections

·    Play a role in maintaining our Salesforce reporting and analytics tools, including creating and maintaining templated reports, sanitizing data sets, and assisting department users with data retrieval questions.

·    Identify opportunities to improve franchise sales operational efficiencies

·    Identify opportunities to improve transaction sales activity according to various markets

·    Utilize internal and external data sources to solve key business problems

·    Support senior management in preparing the board deck for quarterly board of directors’ meetings

Qualifications:         

 ·   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, or related field

·    3-5 years of professional experience in a rigorous environment with strong quantitative skills

·    Forward-thinking, analytical and problem-solving mindset with a desire for continued learning

·    Demonstrate the ability to work cross functionally, adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines.

·  Experience using and optimizing ERP/CRM systems (preferably SalesForce) and advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

·  Detail oriented self-starter that excels in verbal and written communication
