Job Description:Are you a highly motivated Electrical Engineer with a passion for designing cutting-edge solutions for the defense industry? Join our team and contribute to critical projects for the DoD.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and integrate circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and modules, including test adapters and fielded systems.
  • Circuit Design: Leverage expertise in circuit card design, from concept to delivery, including hardware/firmware design with microcontrollers, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, and UART.
  • Component Selection and Integration: Specify, source, integrate, and leverage commercial and government-sourced equipment for rapid prototype delivery.
  • Simulation and Analysis: Utilize simulation tools like SPICE to model electronics behavior, perform analog circuit design, and employ analysis tools like Mathcad or MATLAB to assess design robustness.
  • ECAD and Documentation: Guide ECAD personnel in PWB layout and technical drawing creation, and synthesize and document solutions.
  • Testing and Integration: Support root cause corrective action, test, and delivery within schedule constraints. Integrate aircraft power, low-voltage DC control signals, Ethernet, and digital/analog signals, and perform system integration and characterization.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams across multiple projects, and present design reviews to program leadership and technical staff.

Required Skills:
  • US Citizenship and Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.
  • Engineering Experience: Minimum 5 years of engineering design experience and a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field, or a master's degree with relevant internship experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in circuit simulation tools, ECAD software, and digital simulation environments. Experience with military specifications and standards.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:
  • Leadership Experience: Team and project leadership skills.
  • Power Electronics: Design, analysis, and/or test experience with power converters and analog electronics.
  • Altium Designer: Experience using Altium Designer or equivalent ECAD software.
