Job DescriptionJob Description

The MDA is a field-based sales and merchandising role. MDAs are responsible for selling established KSC initiatives (permanent display fixtures, weekly promotional displays, and seasonal thematic displays). Additional areas of focus include full-shelf conditions, neatly merchandised displays and shelves, building display point-of-sale in all areas of the store, properly-rotated product on the shelf, and accurate price tags / point-of-sale in all departments. A major objective of this role is to establish and maintain rapport with key store individuals, while providing outstanding customer service. The MDA will work with Market Development Leaders as part of a team to ensure client standards are met and volume is increased.

· Grow sales in assigned market.

· Interact daily with MDLs to coordinate market activity, follow-up on identified opportunities, and share insights.

· Sell defined initiatives: permanent fixtures, promotional displays, thematic events.

· Perform store resets as needed.

· Ensure a high level of service and quality is maintained throughout assigned market.

· Be well-organized, detail-oriented, and function in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.

· Build and maintain customer/client relationships.

· Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment.

· Accurately complete multiple tasks, while frequently shifting from one to another, by assigned deadlines.

· Implement and maintain tagging, rotating, and product shelf placement standards.

Communicate effectively both internally to company management and externally with customers.

 

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

· High School Diploma/ GED preferred but not required.

· Good interpersonal skills.

· Excellent customer service orientation.

· Experience working with minimal supervision.

· Ability to frequently lift/carry products weighing approximately 50 lbs. as well as ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.

· Possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

· Possess reliable transportation.

· Ability to provide a high level of customer service and solve customer issues as they arise.

· Spanish fluency beneficial.
