We are seeking a PRIMARY CARE PA/NP to become a part of our team You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Job Details:

  • Position: NP/PA
  • Specialty: Family Practice/Primary Care
  • Start Date: 1/2025

Schedule and Coverage:

  • Clinic hours: Approx. 2-3 clinic days, approximately 15-20 patients/day
  • SNF/Rehab: Approx 2-3 days requiring rounding at nursing/rehab facilities—patient load varies
  • Call schedule: call 1night/week and ~1weekend Q5weeks

General Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Skills:

  • Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
  • Proficiency in performing physical examinations and procedures relevant to their specialty.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose and manage complex medical conditions.
  • Time management skills to efficiently manage a patient workload.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a healthcare team.

License & Certifications:

  • Active and unencumbered PA/NP license in FL.
  • DEA License

Experience:

  • Prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting
