"We are in search of an innovative engineering leader with expertise in SCADA, IoT, PLC, HVAC, and industrial (or similar) large scale indoor controls (hvac, lighting, etc.) technologies to spearhead the design and implementation of our advanced climate control systems. In this capacity, you will utilize your engineering expertise to optimize temperature, humidity, and lighting conditions, thereby maximizing yield and operational efficiency. You will be instrumental in integrating state-of-the-art technologies that facilitate precision-focused and sustainable practices. By working closely with a multidisciplinary team you will lead the development of robust systems."

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Proven experience in a similar technical engineering leadership role, preferably within controlled environment applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing, and indoor agriculture.
  • Proficiency in designing and constructing PLC-based data acquisition systems that monitor lighting, temperature (both internal and external), humidity, security, and other related data for PLC-connected devices.
  • Experience in utilizing modern cloud-based IoT technologies and/or machine learning in the design and construction of PLC controls and associated data collection and usage systems (SCADA); experience with related Cloud-ML type coding or applications is a strong plus.
  • Strong preference for candidates with project management experience in PLC control systems and vendor management.
  • Solid background in data analysis and reporting, particularly using MS Excel or similar applications, is preferred.
  • A strong sense of urgency coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
