  • Conduct system-level analysis, modeling, and simulation to assess performance, reliability, and safety of energy storage systems under various operating conditions and use cases.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions to optimize system performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead system integration efforts, including hardware and software integration, interface definition, and system validation testing, to ensure seamless interoperability and functionality of energy storage systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the capabilities, scalability, and reliability of battery energy storage systems, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, and collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to drive innovation and accelerate project delivery.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments in the field of battery energy storage systems, and integrate relevant insights into project planning and execution.
  • A great team spirit and get-it-done attitude. No job is too big or too small.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the renewable energy or energy storage industry, with a focus on battery energy storage systems.
  • Strong technical expertise in battery technologies, energy storage systems, and power electronics, with a deep understanding of system-level design principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, etc.) and familiarity with industry standards and guidelines for energy storage system design and integration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage project timelines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with product development lifecycle processes, including requirements management, design verification, and validation testing, is highly desirable.
  • Passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and driving positive environmental impact through technology innovation.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
