Caring Hab Technician

We are seeking a Caring Hab Technician to join our team You will plan physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life. 

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and basic housekeeping Human rights Providing personal care Planning processes

Basic cooking Using a computer, including email Planning activities designed to meet specific needs of individual members

Communicating with members verbally and/or through sign language Time and work management Advocating for members Participating in and implementing Individual

Support Plans Read and write in English Understand and follow spoken and written directions Display compassion with respect to others Attend staff training and apply the basic principles of program training and data collection designed to meet the specific needs of members including medication administration Learn and use computer systems (e.g., timesheet entry, computer based trainings)

Learn and apply basic physical, occupational and speech therapy techniques Learn and perform proper lifting techniques and general body mechanics Learn and use nutritional principles and

• Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation 
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
• Record and document patient care services
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
