We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic 5th Grade Teacher who is dedicated to helping students excel both academically and personally, and who is excited to be part of a collaborative and engaged school community.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans in alignment with our curriculum standards.
- Teach core subjects, including math, language arts, science, and social studies, with a focus on critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that supports each student’s growth.
- Use a variety of instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure individual academic growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Encourage students’ social and emotional development, promoting qualities such as responsibility, teamwork, and resilience.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and assessment results, in accordance with school policies.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and community-building activities as a valued member of our faculty.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required).
- Valid teaching certification for 5th Grade or elementary education (required).
- Prior experience teaching elementary-aged students, ideally in a private school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a structured, positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Proficiency in a range of teaching techniques and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs.
- Passionate about child development and committed to fostering a nurturing and academically rigorous environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to the needs of a small, collaborative school environment.
- Enthusiasm for participating in the broader school community, including school events and activities.
