Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering advanced AV systems to support our sales team in creating compelling proposals. This role is pivotal in designing AV solutions for broadcast, corporate production systems, and traditional AV systems, including large and small audio setups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Production systems for Broadcast and AV solutions that may include ST-2110, NDI, SDI-based systems, and Dante networked audio.
  • Develop traditional AV systems design and audio systems of varying scales. (conference rooms, all hands spaces etc)
  • Own the process of templatizing design proposal materials for proposal use.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Write clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including system description narratives, and drawing sets as part of the proposals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in AV systems design and engineering.
  • Strong understanding of broadcast and corporate production systems, including knowledge of media networking technology including ST-2110, NDI, SDI, Dante technologies.
  • Ability to design both traditional AV and complex audio systems.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and the ability to articulate complex system designs in clear, understandable narratives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in AutoCAD or similar design software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software tools
  • Prior experience in a sales engineering role or a similar field.
  • Certifications including CTS-D
