TeleSpecialists is looking for a Clinical Informatics Specialist to assist with onboarding & supporting physicians, maintaining physician onboarding tools, participate in physician onboarding and facility outreach.

Essential Responsibilities of this Role:

Tele Specialists is looking for a Clinical Informatics Specialist to assist with onboarding & supporting physicians, maintaining physician onboarding tools, participate in physician onboarding and facility outreach.

Provider Onboarding

  • Assists with provider onboarding in coordination with new hospitals as providers obtain privileges within those facilities.
  • Partners with Clinical Informatics Implementation Specialists to obtain user credentials and login instructions from our hospital partners and work with providers to ensure they can successfully connect to the required systems. Will troubleshoot any issues and work with hospital IT contacts in resolving.
  • Responsible to follow-up with providers to ensure completion of onboarding processes are done on a timely basis and for achieving designated KPI’s.

Provider Training and Support

  • Will train and educate providers on the use and functions of the various Electronic Medical Record systems that TeleSpecialists works in across our client base. Will also train and educate providers on how to connect or login via Citrix, VPN, RDP to our various hospital partners.
  • Will help to develop training or reference materials and onboarding instructions for the providers to reference.
  • Will act as an escalation point or subject matter expert for IT support related to our providers use of EMR or clinical applications.

What You Need to Succeed in the Role

  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
  • Experience in a Healthcare IT, EMR support or similar setting. Experience working in Clinical Informatics or in an EMR Education role is ideal.
  • Experience working with inpatient EMR systems including EPIC, Cerner, AllScripts, Meditech, etc.
  • Experience working with providers and ability to develop strong working relationships and providing concierge level service to providers.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with virtual desktop applications and environments such as working with VMWare, Citrix or VPN connections.
