This is a position for an experienced spray finisher / painter only. We are looking for a confident individual who is ready to hit the floor running with no additional training required.

Job Title: Sheet Metal Wet Painter (Direct Hire)
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay: $22-28/hour DOE

Essential job duties for this role will include:

• Set Up and maintain paint operating systems, portable spray system, air compressor, and associated appliances. Ability to work in a team environment.
• Produce high quality painting of all products with a baked and air dry enamel or equivalent paint products.
• Handle all hazardous materials as prescribed by law and by manufacturers’ instructions.
• Will follow all local, state and company policies regarding the proper handling of paint and hazardous waste; logging information
• Maintain attention to detail and exceptional quality control.
• Work from drawings, specifications, worksheets, color codes, mixing, charts, tables, verbal and written instructions / information.
• Assist in evaluating new finishing materials and procedures as required.
• Adhere to QMS requirements
• Establish Detailed Guidelines for Quality Standards
• Audit Internal Systems in Accordance with ISO requirements

We’re looking for an Industrial Wet Painter with the following background profile/skillset:

• 3+ Years in Wet Painting Role or similar
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Safety conscious
