Introduction
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Electronics Technician position located in Orlando, FL. This position is a contract to hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site for a contract duration of three months prior to conversion to direct hire with our client.

 

Job Description:

  1. Diagnose electrical malfunctions, determine extent of repairs required, and perform any range of required repairs
  2. Troubleshoot and Repair cable assemblies
  3. Troubleshoot and Repair to component level printed circuit boards (PCB) 
  4. Attend all company training and safety awareness classes
  5. Follow safety rules and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment
  6. Inspect motors and belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, and performs other maintenance actions while following maintenance procedures
  7. Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems by observing mechanical, electrical, and component devices in the operation; uses precision measuring and testing instruments
  8. Perform a range of electrical, mechanical and electronic checks, repairs, and installations
  9. Performs daily and weekly safety checks on equipment
  10. Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and computer-based test stations and associated control systems (Preferred, not mandatory)

 

 

Qualified candidates would have the following:

  1. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  2. Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English
  3. Ability to read blueprints and schematics required
  4. Detailed trouble shooting to component level
  5. Basic computer and Microsoft office skills required 
  6. Experienced in basic electrical and electronic field equipment operation
