Title: Mechanic

Pay: 36.55/hr.

Hours: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am – Schedule is 2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on for nights.

What you will do:

· Equipment Maintenance:

· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, identifying potential issues and addressing them proactively

· Perform troubleshooting to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and implement effective solutions

· Overhaul and repair equipment components such as motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems

· Repairs and Replacements:

· Execute timely and efficient repairs, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

· Replace defective parts, ensuring the use of appropriate materials and following equipment specifications

· Collaborate with other team members to coordinate major equipment repairs and upgrades

· Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory

· Provide detailed reports on equipment conditions, highlighting any recurring issues or trends

· Safety Compliance:

· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment

· Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of safety procedures

Requirements:

· Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role with minimum of one (1) year experience

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly

· Must be able to follow directions

· Excellent attention to detail

· Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role

· Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

· Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

· Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Effective communication and collaboration skills

· Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in industrial mechanics

· Must have a rolling cart toolbox of your own

· Must have steel toe boots

· Must have your own tools up to ¾ inch socket/wrench set

Pay Details: 36.55 per hour
